Speed Cushions
Suitable for speed reduction within 10 and 30 kph zones. For use on straight roads and at junctions.
Recommended where speed reduction at specific points are required e.g. near, schools, residential areas, car parks and commercial applications. These speed cushions are particularly suitable for transition from 50kph to 30 kph zones as their presence makes drivers aware of the need to reduce speed. Suitable for all types of vehicles.Our Speed Cushions are about 1.8m wide, with a plateau section width of 1.2m, therefore buses and coaches can drive over them without causing discomfort to passengers. The wheels of buses actually only make contact with the lower edges of the cushion, which does not affect the driving dynamics of the vehicle. Our SPEED CUSHIONS are divided style plateau cushions and so therefore will not affect existing road drainage These complete kits are supplied in red or black.
